Carol Drucker is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice in Albany/Berkeley, California. She has been working for 40 years as a clinician, supervisor and teacher.

Dr. Drucker came to the bay area in 1974 from New York to do her pre and post-doctoral training in psychology at Mt Zion Hospital. It was then that she first became involved with the Control-Mastery group (Mt. Zion Research Group) attending their regular Friday research meetings and working closely with the founders Dr. Joe Weiss and Dr. Hal Sampson. She was also involved in some of the original research and did some ground breaking work on how psychotherapy works including the process of how patient’s change. Over the years, she continued to be involved with the research group in many capacities including as a member of the board of directors.

Dr. Drucker was the training director of the SFPRG clinic from 2007-2016. During that time she worked with the interns at the clinic and taught about CMT. She also has been faculty at CSPP (currently Alliant International University) since 1979. She enjoys training and teaching and is currently running a program for Post Doctoral candidates privately.

Dr. Drucker’s therapy practice includes working with people who are in life transitions including people who are facing life threatening diseases, divorce, and adolescents and their parents. She lives in the bay area with her husband and has 2 grown children who live near by.
